I’m welcoming summer with a recipe for lemon bars from a good friend. This recipe is super easy and a definite crowd pleaser! Enjoy!
-1 cup butter, softened
-½ cup white sugar
-2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 ½ cups white sugar
-½ cup all-purpose flour
-2 lemons, juiced
-Powdered sugar, for garnish
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. In a medium bowl, blend together butter, 2 cups flour, ½ cup sugar. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13in pan.
3. Bake for 15–20 minutes (or until firm & golden). In another bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 ½ cups sugar and ¼ cup flour. Whisk in eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust.
